Almost Heaven Music & Arts Festival

Almost Heaven Music & Arts Festival
Country roads, take me home to Harrison County because United Way is hosting the first ever Almost Heaven Music & Arts Festival from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 27 at the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center. Local songwriters, musicians, and artisans will showcase their talents, providing a full evening of entertainment. The show’s lineup includes headliner Nat Frederick, John Henry Band, Jake Ujehlyi and Triple Threat, and Chance Foley. Displays by local artisans will also be featured in the ballroom.
“We are extremely excited to partner with United Way to host this amazing first-time event,” Robinson Grand Executive Director Ryan Tolley said. “Not only are we giving outstanding local artists the opportunity to showcase their talents, we are also supporting local United Way member agencies who provide life-changing and lifesaving services to Harrison County residents.”

United Way Executive Director Tina Yoke sees the Almost Heaven Music & Arts Festival as an event that will bring Harrison County communities together.

“Music unites people and we are grateful to have so many talented musicians and artisans who are willing to support our community,” Yoke said. “Every day we try our best to link people, resources, and opportunities together to better meet the socioeconomic needs of our communities. This music and arts festival serves as a common ground where we can all come together and make a difference.”

United Way hopes the festival becomes an annual event that focuses on local talent. Nat Frederick, songwriter and musician, said he thinks a festival like this has been a long time coming.

“Anytime local musicians can perform and support a great cause at the same time it’s a wonderful thing,” Frederick said. “I look forward to seeing all of our fans rally around this festival and kick it off right.”

Tickets will be available Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m. for $25. Visit Tickets.TheRobinsonGrand.com or call 1-855-773-6283.

United Way fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community of Harrison County. All donations stay local, helping our families, friends, and neighbors when they need it the most. The proceeds from the festival benefit United Way member agencies.
